A cabinet meeting held Friday April 14 , 2023 at the Government Palace in Kasbah was devoted to the follow-up of the migration file.
During the meeting, chaired by Prime Minister Najla Bouden, the facts related to the events that took place near the headquarters of the United Nations High Commissioner for Refugees on April 12 were discussed in addition to a presentation on the latest statistics on the continuous influx of irregular migrants on Tunisian soil.
The meeting also discussed the results of the national survey on international migration carried out by the National Observatory of Migration, in addition to a presentation on the experience of the National Authority for the Fight against Trafficking in Persons in the field of accompanying victims of trafficking towards insertion and reintegration.
