German-Tunisian cooperation project


This project, funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ) is implemented in cooperation between the Ministry of Social Affairs (class leader), the Ministry of Vocational Training and Employment, the Tunisian General Labor Union, the Tunisian Confederation of Industry, Trade and Handicrafts on the Tunisian side, the German International Cooperation Agency (GIZ) and the Friedrich Ebert Organization The Konrad Adenauer Organization and the Tunisian-German Chamber of Commerce and Industry AHK on the German side.

Within the framework of the Tunisian-German cooperation project “Alliance for Economic Growth and Employment / Social Dialogue”, the following main activities (Activités en binômes) were carried out:

  • Providing media and audio-visual equipment for the benefit of the Information and Communication Office at the Ministry,
    Providing 30 laptop computers for the benefit of job inspectors to facilitate their remote work during the quarantine period, and preparing a program for the digitization of the general labor inspection services, Supporting the capacities of the Ministry’s senior executives in the field of communication by organizing two training courses during the month of March 2021 on institutional communication and communication for the benefit of the central frameworks of the Ministry of Social Affairs and those charged with information and communication in the institutions under the authority of the Ministry,
  • Organizing training courses in the field of collective bargaining techniques in the agricultural sector and labor statistics for the benefit of the frameworks of the
  • General Authority for Labor and Professional Relations,
  • Organizing training courses during the month of August 2021 for the benefit of the Ministry’s frameworks on the topic “Project Management Professional”.
  • Printing the Labor Law Code in hard copy and digital
  • Financing the completion of the Ministry's social portal Portail Web (in the process of completion).

Printing a set of legal and regulatory texts in the field of social security for the benefit of the Center for Social Research and Studies CRES.
