International Labour Organization
The relations of cooperation with the International Labor Office are represented by the participation within a Tunisian tripartite delegation headed by the Minister of Social Affairs in the work of the International Labor Conference, which is held annually in Geneva, in addition to participating in many international and regional forums and workshops in coordination with the relevant ministries.
The Ministry of Social Affairs is also responsible for preparing the reports required by the International Labor Office regarding the follow-up to ratified and non-ratified international labor agreements, as well as responding to reports of the Freedom of Association Committee regarding complaints about violations of the right to trade union submitted by professional organizations.
