Programme for the Pledge of Victims of Trafficking in Persons


This programme consists of monitoring, mentoring and assisting victims of trafficking in persons through various social development programmes by providing social and psychological briefing and shelter on a circumstantial basis for victims to protect them until the threat is eliminated. The programme's legislative framework is the Basic Law No. 61 of 2016 of 3 August 2016 on the prevention and control of trafficking in persons.

Activities completed:

  • Engaging social workers in training courses to enhance their monitoring and reporting capacities to potential victims of trafficking in persons through a programme of cooperation with the National Authority for Combating Trafficking in Persons
  • Engaging social workers in training courses to enhance their monitoring and reporting capacities to potential victims of trafficking in persons through a programme of cooperation with the National Authority for Combating Trafficking in Persons
  • Preparation of the annual report of the Ministry of Social Affairs, which is included in the annual comprehensive report on combating trafficking in persons prepared annually by the National Authority for Combating Trafficking in Persons;
