Supporting Sustainable, Competitive and Responsible Enterprises
The SCORE project is being implemented by the International Labor Office in Tunisia, co-financed by the Swiss State Secretariat for Economics and the Norwegian Agency for Development Cooperation (2019-2021).
This project aims to enhance productivity and improve working conditions in small and medium-sized enterprises by supporting the capabilities and skills of managers and workers in these enterprises by providing 05 training units in each participating enterprise:
- Cooperation in the workplace as a reason for the success of the economic enterprise,
- Act on quality
- Clean production
- Proper conduct of human resources
- Occupational Health and Safety.
The Ministry of Social Affairs is represented in the tripartite leadership committee chaired by the Ministry of Industry and the Institute for Occupational Health and Safety.
Within the framework of this project, staff from the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety and the General Administration of Occupational Medicine and Safety Inspection were trained on the SCORE program. Small and medium enterprises were also supported during the Corona crisis in order to enable them to restore their activity by developing action plans to support occupational health and safety activities in the work environment and to prevent the spread of the Corona virus.
A plan for the continuity of activity for the Ministry in the period of crises (diagnosis) was also prepared by the General Administration of Governance and Administrative Modernization in cooperation with the Institute of Occupational Health and Safety.
